beat the fever

daughter had fever from sun-wed, moved to me wed. evening, noticed and later took temp and was at 100.9, felt it increasing retook and was 101.5, went to bed @ 9:30 and it was 101.8ish; i did not take any meds, just drank glass of room temp sitting water each time went to restroom (lots of water through me). goal was to not take anything for temp. took about 4 hours of high temp. i did not measure it but could feel it was real high, real high. then after 2am temp was gone. an hour later my head was killing me, i guess from all the heat. took ibuprofin for that, woke up at 6:30 and felt great. the way i see it is, i beat the virus (i guess it was a virus) with my fever in less than 8 hours.
